DIN 11852 Pipe Clamps for Hygienic Stainless Tube

Legacy DIN 11852 / EN 10357 compatible clamps — for retrofit, expansion and replacement projects.

Thousands of European food and dairy plants commissioned in 1990-2014 were built to DIN 11852. NIBRO supplies dimensionally identical clamps for line repair, capacity expansion and gradual modernisation — no need to migrate the whole installation to a new OD spec.

Section 01

DIN 11852 in retrofit projects

DIN 11852 is no longer the active standard (replaced by EN 10357 in 2014), but the existing OD table remains the de facto reality on legacy lines. New clamps installed today must match the existing pipe geometry — not the replacement standard.

Specifying a clamp by EN 10357 dimensions on a DIN 11852 line generally works (OD table identical), but checking the actual measured OD before ordering protects against historical batch drift.

Section 02

Direct replacement clamps

• Drop-in compatible with original DIN 11852 clamp bolt centres.

• EN 10204 3.1 material traceability per batch.

• Hot-dip galvanized (carbon steel) options for non-hygienic utility lines.

• Mixed-batch orders (V2A + V4A in one delivery) supported.

Section 03

Migration path to EN 10357

When you upgrade a process line, NIBRO can supply matched pairs of DIN 11852 and EN 10357 clamps in the same delivery — useful for transitional plants running both legacy and new tube on the same skid.
